I was very disappointed in this because A it’s not a book and B it’s not very good. It’s a very meandering speech that seems like it’s an opening introduction speech to an event weekend maybe? Seems like he’s just talking off the cuff without a lot of intentional content.

Could be extremely triggering to someone who has ever used.

I got to the end of the book and really wondered what the message was. It was a good story, very vividly written. It goes into detail of her drug experience, and her time in prison. Although it really should have a trigger warning on it because it is very explicit, repeatedly explicitly explaining drug use. The time spent focusing on recovery and her healing is brief.

Some really good information, I’ll give you a few warnings about this book however.

This is really good information if you haven’t done any work in the space before. And you’re also really religious. There’s a lot of God wants this, God commands verse, Bible verses etc. nothing against that just know that that’s what this book is based on and if you’re not into that kind of thing then it’s going to be really hard to get any good content out of this book. It does have some really good basic information and guidance on how to maintain healthy boundaries. There’s a lot that can be learned from this work especially for someone just starting out in the relationship work and healing space.

I only wish this book was longer!

This concept and approach to the common problems that we face was mind blowing for me. It’s a totally new spin on how and why we self sabotage. I really loved this book and it’s something that I will listen to repeatedly every so often to get this principle really ingrained in my mind.

Strange and sad ending. Not a book I would recommend. Typically I like books that in some way make me better. Entertain the creative side, expand my mind, trigger positive emotions. This not so much.
