Historia
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade.

Very disappointed
Revisado: 01-12-25
This was a great series leading up to this book and went horribly wrong. It feels like the dozens of people he listed at the beginning all were a part of this book pulling it too many directions and then forcing their ideas into the story line. I was a fan and excited for this series finale but he literally ruined everything about the characters especially the original main character I liked. My advice kick out that team hire a different editor and go back to what you were doing in previous series. I don’t have any desire to listen to more of whatever that was and storms was that painfully boring. Those who put down 5 stars should be ashamed of themselves for misleading people who genuinely want quality reviews and not the ramblings of groupies. Last note, that whole story could have been condensed into 1/5th size especially considering there was no need to wrap up all the ancillary characters stories considering the ending.

Historia
Opposites attack! When the Magelord Minalan the Spellmonger’s two apprentices, Tyndal and Rondal, were knighted after the battle of Timberwatch, they were dubbed Knights Magi: A new class of nobility for distinguished High Magi. Designed to combine the pursuit of arcane knowledge with the noble aspirations of chivalry, it elevated them above common warmage...in theory. The problem was they had no idea how to be a Knight Mage...because no one had ever been one before.

Never ending story
Revisado: 08-08-24
Couldn’t finish had some interesting parts but otherwise I couldn’t follow the author’s rationale through and lost me. Spat between characters was laughable and seemed contrived. Bright side I gave up before getting 10 books in on this series!

I’m embarrassed I went this far
Revisado: 01-14-23
No continuity on timeline or characters. Constant errors throughout. Constantly contradicts itself example first “dozen” can’t budge sword and takes 20 people to move sword, then a couple chapters later 4 can lift it up onto railing then next paragraph 7 can’t hold it from falling over edge. Group looks out over an endless dessert that goes to the edges of the earth, then few hours later they are across. One group makes a hard days ride gets injured and then rescued within a couple hours from same location. Also the authors use of a “dozen” apparently ranges from 2 to 30 or their basic math skills don’t work.

Book series writing just keeps you interested but is full of maddening plot holes. The character learns sometimes oddly specific abilities only to not use them several chapters later when needed. The whole premise of the story gets undermined 5 books in to create more drama and no end in sight.
