I know the author to a small degree. we met a few times because we both lived in Beverly, MA for many years. I'm a bit biased because it's great that a fellow hometown guy is living his best life. But I gotta tell ya, this book is frakken amazing. JR doesn't disappoint. I'm not done with it and I can honestly say that it is by far one of his best works! Thanks again JR for providing me company on my long rides home from Boston to NH.

I think I can understand some folks that might have had hangups with the earlier parts of the story. If you're looking for a Hyperion type story, this is not it. But if you're in for a great story, with great sci-fi, fantastic characters and a ton of just good stuff, this is it. Just try you Monkey!

I spent alot of time thinking about this review. I read tons of other reviews about this series, as I was listening. The woulbe "Professional" critics spend alot of time saying how The Fear Saga is a wonderful series. They go on to say, it could been an instant Sci-fi Classic, had the author paid for a "Professional" editor and if he had not self published. I find this type of criticism weak and pompous at best. Especially, coming from someone who probably hasn't had a single original idea in their life. People have been telling stories since time began. IMO, I'm happy that authors can self publish and not get raked over the coals for their idea. I am also a fan of listening to a story the way the author intended it to be. THIS SERIES IS INCREDIBLE! The story is amazing. The characters are memorable and the narration is perfect (thank you RCB). Stephen Moss, please keep telling stories and I will keep listening to them. Bravo! Top notch Sci-fi!!! Well worth the listen!
