A Classic Yet Tragic Story
Revisado: 01-21-21
This classic yet tragic story makes me grateful that we have realized that God, in his judgment of sin, was also merciful enough to send his son to erase the gap between us. May we ever remember his mercy and love.

Historia
Considered one of the greatest novels of simple and triumphant religious faith to be published in the 20th century, how the The Song of Bernadette came to be written is an inspirational - even miraculous - story in its own right. In June 1940, famed Austrian author Franz Werfel and his beautiful wife, Alma Mahler, were on a desperate flight across France, seeking to escape certain death at the hands of the Nazi invaders. Franz had written many articles and given many radio speeches denouncing their tyranny.

disappointing narration
Revisado: 04-15-15
It was hard to listen to the narrator, who had a cold. Also his character voices were lame, and he even mispronounced key terms in the story...Very disappointing.

An exciting and bitter-sweet ending to the series
Revisado: 01-19-15
As always, Michael Kramer and Kate Reading deliver an unsurpassed performance narrating this book. This story came alive as Mr. Kramer and Ms. Reading gave a unique voice to each character. I cannot choose a most memorable moment since I love the entire series. Brandon Sanderson brilliantly wove Robert Jordan's notes together seamlessly, and the last book reads as though Mr. Jordan finished the book himself. The Wheel of Time series is a must read for fantasy lovers everywhere.

An enthalling listen!
Revisado: 03-11-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely! The story is engrossing and the narrator brings the excitement to life.
What was one of the most memorable moments of To Light a Candle?
I can't pick one, because I love the WHOLE BOOK!
What does Susan Ericksen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Susan Ericksen really brought the story to life. She is the consumate story teller. She told the story in a believable and exciting way.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The relationship between Kellen and Edalia is sweet and multi-layered. Edalia is his sister but in many ways she is also in a mother role. Kellen loves his sister but is also struggling with his own manhood.
Any additional comments?
You need to get all three books in this trilogy, an exciting, moving and satisfying listen!
