This book was outstanding! I couldn’t put it down and just when I thought I had it figured out it took me in another direction completely. This book is very worth a credit. Author and narrators are amazing. Please take time for this book, you won’t regret it.

It doesn’t help that I keep finding myself looking ridiculous in front of the detective, thanks to interfering ghosts who enjoy laughing at my expense.

To the reviewers that reviewed this book and compared it against his father’s. You’re fools. ( and need to spell check your reviews.) You went into this book expecting the tone of Dresden. This is not that. The series has a lot of promise and potential. The Narrator will grasp the tone of of the characters. Much like the narrator of The Iron Druid Chronicles made adjustments from one book to the next as he got a better feel for the characters. To those who read this review. Suspend what you expect from the Dresden Files and see this for what it is. It’s a brand new adventure that’s just getting started. Well done James J Butcher!

This book had such amazing characters, an amazing storyline, and wonderful narrators to round it off. This book was so much more than I expected. I touches your heart, makes you go through a flurry of emotions and it the end it leaves you suitably stunned at everything you just read. There aren’t words to explain how powerful this book was.

There’s a lot of heart and soul in this book. The diversity, the way things are described paints an amazing picture. Following all three characters was amazing! I sincerely hope this is not Norman’s one and only book. It’s been a long time since I’ve come across a book this is so rich and heartfelt. This book is absolutely worth the read and please keep an open mind. This was not written with those that are easily offended in mind. But, it is meant to open hearts and show that you truly have no idea what some people are going through and to be kind and open your heart to others. Lessons learned and good deeds done along with deep emotions and memories. Kudos to Mr Norman Reedus. Please keep writing and narrating.

Absolutely Mindblowning!

This is the first book in this genre that I've ever read and I couldn't put it down. I fell in love with the characters. I could identify with the MC and all of the other characters and their antics. This book was a lot of fun for me and I hope there is a sequel. Thank you J.R. for this amazing ride, and R.C. for bringing it to life. Such an outstanding duo!
