Worth it!
Revisado: 01-03-20
This was one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to along with one of the best solo performances. The cliffhanger ending is epic and I was shocked at the books end to notice that it was narrated by only 1 person. The variety of voices, inflections, and accents incorporated to the telling of this story were amazing. In addition, the story is one that will take you through a roller coaster of emotions, make you fall in love with the main characters, and leave you at the edge of your seat attempting to figure out where this tale will twist next. Overall, seriously recommended!

A seemingly honest glimpse into the bittersweet wold of fame.
Revisado: 06-08-19
This story was amazingly well written in it’s complexity, well rounded character development, and wide range of emotion. By the end of the book Evelyn Hugo and her extraordinary and at times tragic life felt so real I was ready to google her to learn more or watch one of her movies. The reality that many parts of this fictional story were an accurate retelling of many people’s experience in Hollywood throughout the years added an additional layer to the tale. Overall, it was a worthwhile read- an escape into a world that felt complete, full of color, desire, and humanity.

Hands down Troublemaker is one of the best books I've ever read/heard!
Revisado: 02-22-17
Leah Remini's brave, inspiring, and cautionary tale of surviving Scientology is irrevocably impactful and evocative. Her performance truly showcases her notable ability to connect with an audience. Leah's reading feels as though you are listening to a friend accurately recount their experience of traumatic events; however, her unwavering humor will inevitably make you laugh out loud while the transgressions she has experienced as a result of the cult may make you cry. You won't regret reading Troublemaker, it's a truly humanizing look behind the curtain of what makes people join a cult, motivations for staying, and tactics used to control involved members....not to mention, the juicy Hollywood tales included are just what the doctor ordered!
