The author used the Biblical Scriptures available as much as possible making the Scriptures come to life. The fictional part of the story is very lifelike as to how emotions and what may have taken place in the hearts of the characters. Bravo! Enjoyed listening to this book and did not want to turn it off😀

One of the best books I’ve listen to in a long time! It flowed quickly from the beginning to the end and had surprises along the way! Love the Biblical undertones of Jennifer’s books. The narrator does an excellent job of an English accent and the language used for the time period is perfect! Would recommend this book to any of my friends.

Not only the content of suspense, romance, Christian morals & finding a reader with a good Scottish & English accent kept me wanting to hear more, but the obvious knowledge of how the telegraph worked and the history of the typewriter and telephone were intriguing! I loved that the author brought the morals and success of Andrew Carnegie into her novel and shared the biblical principles that he utilized to be successful! I will definitely read all of Jennifer‘s books!
