Seven essays include Charles Chesnutt's "The Disfranchisement of the Negro", W. E. B. DuBois "The Talented Tenth", and Wilford Horace Smith's "The Negro and the Law" .

This was a great book. I love the way you read it. The format was great and also the delivery had a old style type of field to it.
