This is by far my favorite book in this series. Bianca and Kratos are a perfect match and oh the chemistry sizzles. There were times when I was genuinely scared to death for Bianca. The narrators did an excellent job as always. Emery Erickson has so many variations of voices, I’m amazed. Her voice creeped me out when there was a scene with a ‘monster.’ Awesome book. I can’t wait to find out more about Drazen

Hot sizzling chemistry

I LOVED listening to this book. The chemistry between Donte and Tempest is scorching hot. Tempest is so fierce and Emery Erickson did a fantastic job narrating Tempest, including the voice of Donte. This book was super spicy and dark which made it so much better. I had to question myself when I giggled at the scene where Donte was doing some horrible violent things. But he’s a freaking sweetheart in some serial killer kinda way. I loved his nickname for Tempest, little hurricane.

So good with modern twist!

I grew up reading all the Korean folklore when I was a child in Korea. This story is so refreshing since it takes place in modern times and yet it has the basic background stories of old Korean folklore. I love the fact that nine tailed foxes are not evil and cunning. They are just misunderstood. And the chemistry between Sunny and Ethan is so hot! I just wish they get together already! I mean there are very steamy scenes but I want more please! The narrators did an excellent job portraying the characters. I could feel the anguish and emotional turmoil by listening to her beautiful calm voice. Well done! I can’t wait for the next book!

Action packed

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It was action packed, mysterious, slow burn, and realistic. I appreciate the author not sugar coating what really went on during this time period. The trauma these characters had to go through were so real and there were times when I choked up. The romance was slow burn but that made the ending even better. The narrators did fantastic jobs. Their voices were so emotional when it was needed. I could feel the anguish and sorrow in their voices. And having the serial killer on the lose made everything so interesting.

I read/listened all of the series so far and this is my fav. The beginning had a little slow start but it picks up real fast and some point, it got really scary. I like Vagan the most out of all the Naga characters. Zaku can be a bit of a fool and Bruksha is a hot headed. The other two can be frustrating, but Vagan is quiet but his actions speaks louder. His devotion and obsession to Shelby is awesome. And this book explains so much about where Nagas came from and why. The storyline gets so interesting as you move on to next books.

I loved this book very much! It started out as slow burn and then it got super spicy. The narrators sounded really great together and I LOVE the duet narration. I only wish that Kai’s narrator was less flat on the British accent. Emery Erickson was awesome as Isabella.

Dragos and Pia’s relationship is so solid. I know they are fictional characters but my god, I am so jealous of them. The ending was so brilliant and beautiful.

So cute and steamy

I don’t understand how there is only 1 review. This book is very cute and steamy. Both of the main characters have dark pasts but the story itself does not get too dark. My heart broke when I heard the female character’s childhood trauma but the characters heal each other throughout the story. The trauma of their pasts really did not define who they were. There is no complicated angst which I liked. Highly recommend it.

It was long but worth it

Loved the story. I loved how they fought like a mature adults and tried to hash out their issues instead somone misunderstands and causes unnecessary heartache. Loved the writing style. The story was long but it kept me intrigued all throughout the story.

One of my fav.

I read this story in print and then I also got it as audible. It’s so good. This book was a surprise for me. I didn’t see it coming because I was anticipating the story of previous book of Orhran and Larkin. But the story with Sabastian and Ada was so spicy and sassy. The chemistry and the dialogue between Ada and Sabastian was off the hook. I loved every min of it.
