Good Listen But....

This lecture has good info but it don't reccomend it as a first book for individuals trying to educate themselves financially. If you do listen to it I'd skip the second chapter until you've listened to two or three other sources. I think this might reinforce some bad habits even if technically accurate.

What the heck people?

Protagonist is a Contradiction, but....

It is as if the main character is a highly autistic psychopath. He is really smart and can mostly live without emotions. However, for how intelligent he is supposed to be certain aspects should not be going over his head despite of or even because of his upbringing. That being said, I enjoy the story, have already bought the second book in the series, and will be buying the rest.
P.S. The performance probably deserves more than 3 stars just not 4 so it gets 3.

Misleading, heavily biased

Great Advice

This book is best IMO for people who are already debt free. The author probably said Vanguard at least 200 times even though he claims not to be getting a kickback. He does address this, however, with some good points. A better place to start for people in debt would be Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover". I will come back to this book in a year and re-listen to remind myself of some tips and strategies.

Not Much Helpful Information

I did not care for how the narrator spoke. I'm not a teenager and neither is she. Many anecdotes seemed completely made up. Also, it felt like a book where she told us she got rich selling us a book telling how to get rich... no real substance or value.
