Historia
Aaric Christos was a guy who protected me. Wanted me. Maybe even loved me. That man is gone. In his place is the most powerful real estate tycoon in the city. He's a cold, ruthless, aggressive businessman. The only one who can save me and my start-up from ruin. It takes every ounce of courage to put my pride aside and ask for his help.

Disappointing ending
Revisado: 06-25-18
I just finished the book and im sitting here with confused disappointment. What happened to the ending?? Whos baby is it??? How can the book end without an actual answer to the main dilemma in the book? I feel dooped... the narration was good although like most readers wish there was more from the males POV but the female was still good. This was my first and probably last book by this author, im not happy with her flaky writing style.

adorable short story

this was an adorable short story of insta-love. It starts off a little slow but quickly takes off. I loved the intensity of the love and devotion between the two characters. worth a credit and narration was excellent

this is my first book from this author and I am in love with her writing style. I will definitely be reading more from her. This book is absolutely worth the credit. An amazing love story with tragic loss. The author and the narrators were able to paint a vivid picture of everything that was happening in the story. I could not stop listening to this book and was sad when it was over. The entire story was riveting and intense and I loved every minute of it. The HEA was so sweet and fulfilling, I loved how the story ended on such a happy note. Because after all most of us read romance novels for that happy ending

this was a great read / listen, this romantic comedy had me laughing out loud throughout the book. I love how the author references Grey's Anatomy and Ed Sheeran and how realistic the language between the teachers and students are. It reminds me of when I was in high school....I loved every minute of this book. And the epilogue was so adorable and satisfying. I love when I finish a book feeling happy and giddy, I will definitely be checking out the next book and will be reading more from this author. And of course the narration was excellent as it always is with these two narrators

Revisado: 04-21-18
I am so glad that I bought the second book. There were mixed reviews whether it was good or not but if you liked the first one then you will absolutely love the second one. Captain and Paige's story is heartwarming and he is as much of a possessive caveman as Myles is. Narration was excellent and good to hear more of the male perspective in the second book then you did in the first book which I really liked.

excellent story!
Revisado: 04-19-18
I strongly recommend this book, it is a great love story. Yes the male character is possessive and stalker-ish. Some of the things he does are a little on the creepy side but everything he's doing is coming from the heart. he wants Mallory's life to be as perfect as he can make it, he doesn't always go about things in the right way but his intentions are good. I know there is a lot of negative comments that he is a creepy stalker but if you actually finish the whole book you will fall in love with it. The beginning of the book has you thinking that Myles is a crazy stalker and honestly he does have a touch of it but the book is definitely worth reading...... come on ladies you know if there was a handsome rich man professing his love to you sweeping you off your feet you would not resist, most women would love nothing more than to have a man love them unconditionally even if he is a little possessive. The ending was so sweet, it shows how they literally lived happily ever after into their retirement years and how he treated her like a queen for the entire span of their marriage and relationship.... my only negative comment would be that there was so much told from the female character's point of view, I wish that we could have seen a little bit more from the male character's perspective although he did have a few chapters throughout the book. Also great narration by these narrators. I will definitely be reading book 2, can't wait to see what happens with Paige and Captain!

Historia
The first time I laid eyes on Lydia Decker, I couldn’t speak. Or breathe. Or string two coherent thoughts together. And I don’t mean any of that figuratively. No, when I first laid eyes on Lydia Decker - my physical therapist - I was lying flat on my back in the ICU, high as a kite on painkillers, breathing on a ventilator, my bones as broken and splintered as my spirit. She said she’d been assigned to fix me. But what I didn’t know...what I couldn’t possibly know...was that Lydia Decker needed fixing far more than I ever did.

if you are looking for a tragic beginning but an amazing happy ending, this is the story for you. I love how the author ended on such a happy note. There was no guessing or wondering what was going to happen to this family in the end she laid it all out there and I couldn't be happier with the book in the ending. Although I was not a fan of the female narrator who was also the author. in my opinion she way over did the emotion, every time the character cried or was upset it was very annoying to listen to. but the male narrator was great

It was ok
Revisado: 02-25-18
this book was nothing more than okay it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. The narration was so slow but I was able to speed it up using my Audible app so that helped a little. I also thought that this was a dual narration. It is not the entire book is told completely from the heroines point of view and in the last two chapters we hear from the hero. I definitely won't be reading more in the series
