Historia
A generational leader at her family's insurance agency, Chrissy Myers thought she knew the answers to business and life—until the Affordable Care Act shook the very foundation of the business. In the tailspin just before ACA went live, Chrissy unexpectedly lost her husband. Suddenly, she was a single mom with two kids under six, steering a business with an uncertain future. Chrissy candidly shares her struggles as a business leader in a market upheaval, the challenges common in a family business, and the stress she experienced as a widow and mom dating and building a healthy family.

Resilience in the face of unthinkable challenge
Revisado: 07-27-24
Chrissy’s story is so relatable if you have struggled with grief, family relationships, or managing a family business through crisis. I have battled all of the above, and this book was exceptionally helpful in offering perspective and insight. Highly recommend this book for anyone leading a family business or experiencing grief.

Historia
It was never part of Adam Hill's life ambition or his genetic constitution to wear a Speedo in public, let alone compete in a triathlon. For the first three decades of life, he was the poster child for non-athleticism, obsessively unhealthy habits, and an intense fear of...well...everything. Yet at the age of 33, with a physique that could only be described as "Sasquatch with a Dad Bod", he put aside his insecurities and took his first step toward an outrageous dream: to qualify for the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.

A Much Needed Book for Every Leader
Revisado: 06-19-22
I was immediately drawn into Tia’s story. The personal challenges, the transformation, the growth that she experienced, and the lessons she took forward to take care of her own employees and herself through happy leadership.
Now she passes those lessons on to us, and there is no doubt they will transform lives and organizations. Tia is a master storyteller, and clearly presents the subject matter in a powerful way.
