Historia
Hockey coach Ashley Jaswal doesn't take nonsense from anyone … except her overbearing and superstitious family. They believe she's a good luck charm for her brother Jas, the newest Vancouver Canucks draft pick, forcing Ash to attend all his games as he rises up the NHL ranks, sacrificing her personal life (not that she has one—who decided hockey season needed to be 10 months long anyway?). Ash also clashes with Jas’s teammate, Canucks captain Devin Snyder.

Felt more like a young adult book
Revisado: 10-22-24
The main character first came off as a “I know what’s best for everyone but myself” person. She pretty much was giving relationship advice to others, but she had only been in 1 relationship herself. I mean it makes since if she was younger, but she’s a 30 year old adult! It just felt more like a teenager or early 20s something character.
The narrators male voices were bad, it was either the men sounds like they had clinched teeth or plugging their nose. Her female voices were good. Overall the book is a good filler of you don’t have anything else to listen to.

Spoiler alert
Revisado: 06-12-24
Why did they have to involve insect!?!? The story had some potential, but then quickly feel apart in the second half. So many plot holes and unnecessary characters. The main character is pretty much cringe in the worst way the entire story. I don’t wish this book upon anybody.

To many useless clues
Revisado: 04-10-24
The story would have been better if not for all the extra story telling and Cha added to make the book more enjoyable the main character came off unlikeable and all around also useless for the plot the story could have gone on without her with the same ending and now I have to keep writing a review for this book and go one and in and on just like this book when it could have been summed up in a much shorter way. I mean if I keep typing I might as well give spoilers and save everyone the trouble of reading this book. But who knows maybe someone else will like it and I have no idea what I’m talking about and the book is actually a masterpiece. I mean I’m just a persons who didn’t want to use a credit and instead read this book for free. Oh goodness it’s still saying I have to say more so I will say good night and good luck

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

More Mystery then suspense
Revisado: 09-26-23
The aside from figuring out the ending half way threw I found the book predictable, the character building was lacking. The character Theo was not like able in any way. I found myself not caring about either of the main characters. Their really wasn’t a twist all, the ending was rushed. The story just felt cringe.
