A good standalone book with an excellent narrator.

the story itself was interesting and engaging. I enjoy these books very much because it involves science fiction and military themes. The twists and turns are surprising and enjoyable. A good addition to my audible library.

Romance can be a little complicated when you get sucked into a wormhole. Just ask high school English teacher June Flint. Your favorite stuffed-crust pizza from DeLucia’s on Sunday nights. This was fun to listen to.
Revisado: 08-05-24
I really enjoyed listening to this story. The actors did a good job conveying emotion in the dialogue. The story was well written - fun, and yet introspective. It wasn't your typical time travel sci-fi saga, it was fresh - an interesting and innovative take on a theory that seems to be"done to death." Thanks for a good read/listen.

Historia
At the height of the Holocaust, 25 young inmates of the infamous Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp - mainly Jewish women and girls - were selected to design, cut, and sew beautiful fashions for elite Nazi women in a dedicated salon. It was work that they hoped would spare them from the gas chambers. This fashion workshop - called the Upper Tailoring Studio - was established by Hedwig Höss, the camp commandant’s wife, and patronized by the wives of SS guards and officers.

Exceptional Read
Revisado: 11-22-22
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. It's not an original quote, but it is true. This was an exceptional book. The author/narrator did a wonderful job. I think everyone should read this book so that this kind of thing never happens again!

Historia
"A Rose for Her Grave" - the principal story of this collection - vividly recreates the cautionary tale of Randy Roth, a misogynistic sociopath from the Pacific Northwest whose rage was directed primarily at women and children. Addicted to his own greed, Roth exercised a powerful aura of control over his victims, using his ability to charm and boyish good looks to lower their defenses. By the time they saw the reality of the madness in his eyes, it was usually too late.

This book is exceptional. It is well written. The stories are tragic and angering, but that is what comes from true stories. Both the writer andthe narrator are outstanding.

Revisado: 01-03-19
I enjoyed the story line, however, the unusual names of the characters made it confusing sometimes. I can't help but wonder if I had actually read a physical but I might have enjoyed it a little bit more. It was still a very good read!
