So very good. I wished for more like this. How about Hannah’s
and James’ Romance ?

I enjoyed this book very much. Excellent writing by Lynsay Sands, that was consistent with her earlier Scottish historical romance novels.

However in this book, Sands approached the action and humor in unique, but nonetheless entertaining ways.

Much of the action of the plot took place as the heroine recalls what happened before she was rescued by the hero, while she is recovering from her prior injuries in the Highland laird’s castle and bed. Missing from this book was the long travel on horseback, often woven into her prior genre works such as Highland Wolf. But this was nice because Sands was able to include much detail about past action events in the hero’s and heroine’s lives. You learn how past events shape their current relationship, as they spend hours talking and getting to know each other.

I truly enjoyed the humor in this book because it included a lot of laughable interactions between the hero and the heroine as they interact as adults with their own respective family members. This humor was a more relatable humor for Sands. The very funny pet collection humor in the Highland Wolf was also hilarious, but the humor in this book occurred within more familiar venues.

Of course it was wonderful to have several of the the Buchanan brothers play an active role in the plot of this book.

Also Classic Julie Garwood read by
Rosalyn Landor.
Please… please have Landor re- record :The Wedding. The prior Audible recording is soooo below the Audible book for The Bride!!

And please Julie Garwood return to Historical Romance.

May I suggest Julie, the story of Gabriel’s and his wife Johannas’s miracle child’s life destiny from Saving Grace?

Or what about Ian and Judith’s child’s life story after The Ransom?

I have read over 55 historical Scottish romances. And, I fully enjoyed this book! It has an interesting plot, and a pleasant narrator. Thus, this book easily kept my attention.

The love story builds, as the two very likable main characters get to know each other during story events. The reader learns more and more truths about the characters, as the story builds, and more details are revealed.

I do not comprehend the earlier negative review. Is the couple in this book, in bed and having physical intimacy in Chapter 1? No, they are not. But if they did, we would miss out on the chapters where the lass and lad meet, experience adventures, and finally fall in love!

I guess I am a reader that enjoys baked plots as much as, or maybe more than, microwaved plots….

Is not that why we are seeking books, and not television or movies?

This newest book from Amy Jarecki, contains all the essential and delectable literary parts, that I have come anticipate in Amy’s books.

I have read every one of Amy’s historical romances. “Her Unconventional Earl” does not disappoint.

Amy has an ability to write novels that take you on a beautiful journey. Her novels are similar to the journey one takes while watching a Classical Ballet. There is the opening pas de deux (dance for two), or adagio; variations or individual performances by the partners, and the final pas de deux, or coda.

Buy it. You will find this novel well written, well narrated, heart warming, and full of heated expressions of love between Charity and Harry.

This book only costs 1 credit, but “Her Unconventional Earl” would be worth 2 credits.
