an amazing idea for a series ..... but

the first 4 or 5 novels were amazing, a little short but tons of action, discovery and character development. ... dialogue between characters and the story telling here seemed more like a grade school or high school kid trying to reach a word limit to conplete an assignment.

Finally jumped the shark with the college fraternity members.

while the series got somewhat back on track the sloppy and overly redundant descriptions of dialogue, cheap and semi luse puns led to a an ending so fast all of the amazing character development was just forgotten or even better never happened. This included a few main characters being cast aside, Mack, Danik, Sarah, Derek, and Amanda and others with wasted potential, Regex, Lisa, Patrick, India, and Prescott

it's really kind of a shame .. this woule have made for an amazing 6 to 8 book series with 12 to 15 hr books ... The 8 hr book reads more like an old serial series where you really arent supposed to pay attention to detail so much as be diatracted for a while.

The series suffered from a massive lack of continuity and supervision.

Jefffry K is amazing as always.

overall a great series, but not this book

overall it's a great series, I have really enjoyes it, but I am not sure if this book jumped the shark, or the interns wrote the plot. I will try one more book to decide if I continue.

this book didnt disappoint at all, in some ways it felt even a little more conplete in some ways. I really loved it and finished in less than 24 hours. I was just glued to it.

it wasnt "match game" but it was a little bit of a struggle to get through. I am hoping events and the pace pick uo more in the next book

anniuncing your politics never makes you money

loved the Bosch seriea, love Lincoln Lawyer, but the author stating his politics has stopped me listening and buying after 17 novels. All I can do is vote with my dollar.. so voted.

it was a great series I have listened to the first 10 books at least 10 times.. match game nearly killed the series and attempts to revive it just havent worked.
The end of the previous novel was a conplete ride off i to the sunset, and that was fine. This novel has too many unexplained, glossed over and largely skipped plot points as modt of the main characters have been written out or killed off with the prior novel being the seemingly end of the series. Love the author and narrator, but this is just where I cut bait.

every series has a Rocky III

While I really love Cheney and Mixon, and this series.. this boom was a 7 ouy of 10 in a series of 10's or 11's out of 10. It waa too long on talk and too short on actuon with all of the obvious conclusions visible before the authors laid them out. At least it wasnt "Match Game" level disappointing, but it was just meh.. here's hoping this is just a wild blip in an otherwise great series.

an interesting backstory for a few of the characters, I really wish that parts 1 and 2 had been combined into a single book and purchase.

Overall very good. only a slight ding for some really bad mispronunciations in spots which are just distracting

so great to hear Luke Daniels agat. I love listening to many series, but most recently have been by RC Bray, and I didt realize how much I missed Luke Daniels. JN Cheney spins a gret yarn as usual and Mr Daniels brings it to life.
