Historia
As England enters World War II's dark early days, spirited music professor Primrose Trent, recently arrived to the village of Chilbury, emboldens the women of the town to defy the Vicar's stuffy edict to shutter the church's choir in the absence of men and instead carry on singing. Resurrecting themselves as The Chilbury Ladies' Choir, the women of this small village soon use their joint song to lift up themselves and the community as the war tears through their lives.

Revisado: 02-08-17
Would you consider the audio edition of Rosemary to be better than the print version?
Although the audio was interesting to listen to I think I would have like to read the book as well
Who was your favorite character and why?
Rosemary with my favorite character she seemed to keep moving forward no matter what and she always try to do her best.
What about Bernadette Dunne’s performance did you like?
I think the performance was just fine the most interesting part is when she talked about Rosemary
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No I enjoy listening to a little at a time
Any additional comments?
I felt the story was sad and I felt 4 everyone involved the Father the family members and particularly Rosemary but at the end I thought many people had learned a valuable lesson including Rose about how every individual had something to offer.

Historia
A society wedding at Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire becomes a crime scene when a man is murdered. After another body is found, the baffled local constabulary turns to Scotland Yard. Though the second crime had a witness, her description of the killer is so strange it's unbelievable. Despite his experience, Inspector Ian Rutledge has few answers of his own. The victims are so different that there is no rhyme or reason to their deaths. Nothing logically seems to connect them - except the killer. As the investigation widens, a clear suspect emerges. But for Rutledge, the facts still don't add up, leaving him to question his own judgment.

disappointed
Revisado: 10-10-16
I have read three of Louise Penny books and I have fallen in love with three Pines and I think her characters are very unique she's a very good storyteller. I have to admit that I'm disappointed however due to the profanity that she chooses to use. she's such a gifted Storyteller she doesn't need to use such profanity such as the f-bombs she chooses to use quite often. This seems to tarnish the story not make it better. since this is only her third book in the series ,I'm hoping over time she's learned that she doesn't need to use that language. it's the language she chooses to use that is preventing me from giving it a 5-star rating.
