Deeps Character development- what goes on behind the facade- truly I felt like I knew them. Since I too, am a transplant from California to the East Coast. I understood his challenges. It was both environmentally familiar and yet these people, I have never been in their sphere.

Great Read Finished in 3 days- Couldn’t Stop

I kept thinking did this really happen? Could it happen? I don’t want to give everything away - so will just note that this scenario is typically told with the roles reversed. Then to hear it from her perspective .,. Well it was really thought-provoking. I completely recommend this book and the narrators. The few endearing Spanish words just add flavor.

Surprisingly good story - felt real

At first the main character was irritating me, I didn't like her and I was frustrated. However I had to understand why Elenor was the way she was. The narrator is so good with the voices however, she made me like all the other characters so I had to keep listening. It wasn't long before I couldn't stop listening and I did a marathon session to finish the book. So glad I did!
