Historia
A successful film professor and podcaster, Bodie Kane is content to forget her past—the family tragedy that marred her adolescence, her four largely miserable years at a New Hampshire boarding school, and the murder of her former roommate, Thalia Keith, in the spring of their senior year. Though the circumstances surrounding Thalia’s death and the conviction of the school’s athletic trainer, Omar Evans, are hotly debated online, Bodie prefers—needs—to let sleeping dogs lie.

Another excellent story by Rebecca Makkai
Revisado: 04-20-23
After reading The Great Believers, my expectations for this one were understandably high. And the novel did not disappoint. For me, "I Have Some Questions For You" was one of those books that caused me to sit idling in my driveway for "five more minutes," as my husband watched from the window. Excellent, intriguing listen!

Historia
She was the small-town southern beauty transformed into a Hollywood love goddess. He was the legendary crooner whose voice transfixed the world. They were Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatra. Separately they were irresistible; together they were an explosive combination. Ava’s star is rising just as Frank’s career—and public image as a family man—is taking a hit. Gone are the days of the screaming bobbysoxers and chart-topping hits. Ava, however, finds herself gracing the front page of every tabloid in America. Jealousy and cheating abound.

Convincing performances
Revisado: 04-20-23
While a bit too "romance book" for my typical taste, I wanted to commend the performances. Both narrators are convincing as Frank and Ava, and "Frank," in particular, sounded just as I imagined. If you enjoy stories about the Golden Age of Hollywood or fan fiction about famous couples, I encourage you to add this to your spring or summer listens!
