Great story!
Revisado: 03-22-25
The narrator is horrible! He never changes his voice inflection! it’s like he’s reading an instruction manual to a bunch of bored teenagers. If you can get past that it’s a good story.

Horrible Narrator!
Revisado: 11-14-23
I’m so disappointed that the narrator is different from the first three books. I loved the first three and was really looking forward to this one, but this guy is the worst! I can’t even finish the story.

A new disappointing narrator for book 7
Revisado: 05-23-23
I tried really hard to listen to this but was so distracted by the terrible narrator! At times she sounds ok but most of the time she is very choppy and the story does not flow like the narrator of the first six books. She also busts out in soprano songs several times which also sounds horrible. I realize that narrators have to be changed at times but I wish I would have been warned!

Story was predictable and lots of unnecessary very explicit sex scenes! Thank goodness it was free.

Historia
In the aftermath of Prince Rhun's death, King Owain and King Madog agreed their children should marry as a way to seal the peace between them. Two years later, the wedding date has finally arrived, though relations between the two kingdoms have improved only to the extent that they aren't actually at war. So when an innocent falls victim to a poisoned dish, even Queen Cristina is so desperate for the event to take place that she begs Gareth and Gwen to head off another round of murder - and wedding mayhem - in medieval Wales.

Very Poor Narration
Revisado: 04-10-22
After listening and enjoying the previous 12 books, I was shocked that they changed the narrator! He's horrible! He sounds like a child just learning to read! Also, his Welsh pronunciation of the character names was so different from the previous books that I had to look up which person he was referring to. A disastrous choice to change narrators!
