Historia
Eve looks like an ordinary 12-year-old girl, but there’s nothing ordinary about her. She has no last name. No parents or guardian. She’s on the run from a dangerous and secretive organization that will stop at nothing to track her down. And most astonishing of all: she’s a robot, a product of Eden Laboratories. When Eve discovers the truth, she realizes everything she thought she knew about herself is a lie. Eve manages to escape, fleeing the lab, the only home she’s ever known.

Good story
Revisado: 01-17-20
Enjoyed it but admittedly was difficult to really feel invested in the characters. The overall story was solid.

High School Drama Project?
Revisado: 01-02-20
I have no words for the narrators of this book except that I hope the narrators are High School drama students and doing the narrations for this book was a project. The almost "valley girl-esque" style narration was/is so distracting any attempt to follow the plot was overshadowed. The premise of the book sounds excellent and with better narration holds promise of being an amazing listen.
Wish I could get my money/credit back (I tried and got a message saying I've exceeded my return limit. This is the first audio book I've tried to return!)

Historia
The best science fiction scrutinizes our culture and politics, examines the limits of the human condition, and zooms across galaxies at faster-than-light speeds, moving from the very near future to the far-flung worlds of tomorrow in the space of a single sentence. Neil Clarke has selected the short science fiction (and only science fiction) best representing the previous year's writing, showcasing the talent, variety, and awesome "sensawunda" that the genre has to offer.

The narrators brought the stories alive. Very enjoyable to listen to and the collection flows easily story to story.

Historia
History is changing around 19-year-old Ben Spencer, and he's powerless to stop it. His sister has disappeared, his family thinks he's schizophrenic, and, worse yet, the girl he's madly in love with won't give him the time of day. Enter the mysterious Michael, who, years earlier, helped Ben's parents defeat a powerful sorcerer bent on destroying them and reclaiming a relic stolen from him years before. With Michael's help, Ben will travel back in time, to 1977, and attempt to set the past straight.

Comfortable listen
Revisado: 09-25-19
Joe continues the journey of Small Things. While this is part two the story line can stand alone. His ability to weave a story that makes you feel a part of the story's is wonderful. Madeline does a brilliant job of bringing the story to life.
