Robert Dugoni tells another great story. The unfolding tension and revelations in the courtroom are gripping. The counterpoint of detective work by Frank Rossi and others is a great addition.

The driving plot with believable and knowable characters that you care about. Put this all together in a way that makes you really admire Traci Cosway, and want her to catch the bad guys.

David Wolf, Heather Patterson, and the new Piper Kane, all interesting and the bad guys were compelling and presented with pathos.

I was enchanted by the mixture of almost hallucinogenic narrative, combined with stark detailed analysis of physics, Medicine, the personal journey of nearly dying. I’m not a big reader of nonfiction, but I couldn’t put it down.

Henry Leyva rocks it as the narrator as always. Love the combination of Charlie and Ora Stevens and the family they try to help.

I grabbed this book by Jane Smiley with great anticipation. However, it was a rather dragging Ploth with shallow plot development and repetitive descriptions of daily life. It was fun and interesting to imagine two prostitutes as detectives but this charming premise could not rescue the book.
