Decent storyline, but listening to Tor Thom’s narration is a snooze fest. Mono tone, bad articulation, and airy nasal sounds. Just no!

20 hours of my life I’ll never get back!

I really liked book 1 of this series and book 2 was tolerable, but this book (book 3) was dreadful. Firstly, how Brent Billings ever got the job of narrating is a mystery. His fry voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard…and the guy doesn’t even have a decent command of the English language. Secondly, the storyline and narration are so far fetched and over the top that all I could do was shake my head and wonder how the author even thought this audiobook would sell. Save your money and pass this one buy. You’ll get more enjoyment from a bad telenovela than you will from the irritation this book brings.

Great story if you can get past the narrator.

I usually don’t listen to books narrated by Joel Leslie, because his voice sounds like a drunk on the verge of belching or farting…but this book had a very important message for all queer people. Although fictional, this sweet story is based on historical facts and gives great insight into what queer people had to endure before us. We should use it as a reminder of how far we’ve come and as a catalyst for the work we still have to do. Bravo Cat Sebastian!

Story was entertaining in the beginning until it got to the ridiculous therapy drama. More like junior high relationship drama than adults. Save your money and pass on this one.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would! Sweet, tender, the right amount of angst, emotional, sexy, and the perfect happily ever after ending…all wrapped up with great narration! I can’t believe this is Emmy Sanders debut book. I’m so looking forward to more of her books!

A really fascinating story with lots of twists and turns. Ultimately the author failed me when the dynamic with Cohen changed and then again with the ending. I was left feeling angry instead of the HEA the story deserved.
