Unique story but with a few faults

I loved the story line. The characters are very interesting. The major faults while listening to this book was the usage of the same words over and over again. The English language has so many different words to describe the same thing, words like “stared” and “bones” being used over and over again get a little monotonous.
The other issue I saw with the book.... the fighting scenes continuously went on and on and on. I think some of that could have been shortened a little bit.

I loved the whole world that was created in the story. Chess was used in this story Very uniquely.

Very good book

Brittany Presley did a great job on her narration of the book.
I could tell the characters apart very well.
The book has many twists and turns. I really like that it kept me thinking. Definitely not a real life story, but the author Victor Methos has a great imagination. I really like the creativity shown in this story. The ending is definitely not what I expected, but will leave you wondering about one of the characters in the story.

Seemed like a long book that was going nowhere for awhile. I made my way through it and the ending was surprisingly good.

Many interesting stories

This book was interesting to listen to. The stories open your mind to unexplained phenomenon and the possibility of life elsewhere. I did like the stories, but if it could have been narrated in a more interesting fashion, it would be more bearable. It was more like listening to the narrator from the show “The Twilight Zone” this book was given to me for my honest review. This is my honest opinion and no one else’s

A different look at relationships

R.J. Askew has an unusual look into these three characters life and relationships. It is a very deep thinking aspect in life. I personally did not like this type of writing. He definitely thinks outside the box and I admire the writer for that. I was given this as a free book for my review. This is my own thoughts and opinion on this book.

Great criminal mystery

‘The Botonist’ By L.K. Hill was an excellent book. This was a great criminal mystery. I would definitely read more of this authors books.
The main male character Cody was a very likable detective. The story had many twist and turns and a mystery about the main female character Alex.
The Narrator Larry Oblander was excellent. He made the characters come to life. Definitely will listen to more of his books he narrates. You could hear the difference in characters, that is very important for me to understand the book faster.

Karen Musser Norman has a very unique camping series

I love the camping series. If you are a camper, you will love them. With that said, this book was not my favorite. The sort in some spots went on for way longer than it should. I love Frannie Shoemaker and her family. I will be continuing on with the series. Michelle Babb does very well with the characters. I have come to know each individual voice in the series. That helps tremendously when listening to a book. I was given this book to listen to for free, for my honest review. This is my thoughts only on this book.

Very unusual love Rectangle

First Snow had a very interesting love triangle or should I say rectangle. I loved the characters and how you felt their love bond between them. My only disappointment was the ending. I would have given it a five star, but to me it ended very abruptly. With all the attention give to the personalities in the book, I did expect more. It had some very steamy and erotic moments. Not a book for anyone under 20 years old.
The narrator did a great job on defining the men and little girl voice. It would have been awesome for a woman to do Lexie and the other woman’s voice.
Overall I thought the book was good, but it left me wanting more.

Dark secrets come to life

The house beneath the oak tree was a fairly good book. Penny seems to uncover an old secret about the house, that takes her down a dark path. It kept my interest long enough to finish the book. Not my favorite story. The narration was done well, but I feel it needed more flare to hold my interest. This book was given to me free for my honest review. It is my opinion alone.

‘I’m Still Here’ is a very mind stimulating book

Kathryn R Biel did an excellent job at writing a story about a woman (Esther) dealing with her sister’s mental illness and dysfunctional family. There is great humor, love and of coarse dysfunction. In the book. Her character developers from a girl that doesn’t think much of herself, into a woman that realizes she is worthy of love. She is a very funny character, poking fun at herself and her incoordination. It has a few steamy scenes I feel are “G” rated

The narrator “Lisa Beacon” does an excellent job at bringing her character to life. She makes you feel al the character’s personality, especially Esther.

This book would be good for older teens to adult age people.
