Historia
In this thought-provoking audiobook, Tobias Leenaert leaves well-trodden animal advocacy paths and takes a fresh look at the strategies, objectives, and communication of the vegan and animal rights movement. He argues that given our present situation, with entire societies dependent on using animals, we need a very pragmatic approach. How to Create a Vegan World contains many valuable ideas and insights for both budding advocates for animals and seasoned activists, organizational leaders, and even entrepreneurs.

We can do this!
Revisado: 11-29-18
This is a feel-good book for vegans...and I mean that in a good way. Instead of all the horrific facts we all know about, this audiobook lays out victories, how we can keep winning and hit it right out of the park. I think Tobias needs some bodyguards because this guy is Meat Industry ENEMY #1. Veganism is about to avalanche...if people just follow his lead, and the slaughterhouses of hell are going to be losing some serious money.

OWEN - I learned early on to keep my expectations low. Somehow, I keep ending up disappointed anyway. Like now: I finally have an alpha, and I bet I could take him in a fight. I’m no expert, but I don’t think that’s how that’s supposed to work. Everything seemed good at first. Or as much as it was ever going to be, auctioned off to a strange alpha so I could pop out their litter. But hey, in this time of mysteriously low birth rates, we fertile omegas are a prized commodity - emphasis on the commodity. (No, I’m not bitter. Why do you ask?)

Sexy Werewolves...need I say more?
Revisado: 10-06-18
Okay, so this was my first Mpreg book, but not my first rodeo by any means. I've been pouring through this publisher's catalog and decided to go out on a limb with something new. Honestly, I thought the story was great without the Mpreg elements or even the werewolf aspect, but werewolves are always hot, so that's a bonus. I really enjoyed the buildup between the boys and I think it was perfect the way the voice actor did their voices, where the alpha sounded more gritty, yet there was a contrast...
...well, I don't want to say too much. I will say that I recommend it and I'm glad I tried this one out.

We don't need more churches...
Revisado: 10-04-18
My girlfriend and I listened to this one our recent road trip and it caused us to really start noticing all the churches that we could see from the interstate, and we thinking: the world has seriously gone completely crazy. If you listen to this audiobook you'll see what I'm talking about. I had to laugh when he talked about how if Jesus is God, then Jesus was praying to himself and sacrificing himself to himself to pay himself the debt that humans owed him. Maybe Christianity was intended to be a comedy that people ended up taking seriously?
5 stars, and I hope for more from both the author and the narrator.

A World Without Men?
Revisado: 09-11-18
I was brought to this book after reading Duke Armstrong's book _These Bitches Want Your Money: 101 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Get Married_. Feminism obviously wants a world without men, but exactly what does that mean? I think Tim Patten outlines it beautifully. When you toss masculinity (men and testosterone) out the window, you can basically say goodbye to civilization. Feminists are absolutely out of their skull. I think every man and boy needs to listen to this audiobook.

Superb Intro
Revisado: 09-11-18
Raza does a superb introduction to practicing mindfulness. I like how he backs up everything with the science behind it too, so you know you're not dealing with some New Age hocus-pocus. I probably wouldn't have given this a second thought if a buddy with PTSD from the military hadn't recommended practicing mindfulness for dealing with stress. It's a short little audiobook, but it takes you through exactly how to start being mindful.

Historia
Omnio "King" Falcone is the grandson of Don "The Butcher" Falcone, the feared and powerful boss of Detroit's reclusive Mafia faction, known simply as the "Syndicate." As the last Falcone, King is the heir-apparent to his grandfather's throne. Except there is one problem. A big one. He is a "difetto," not of pure Sicilian blood. As a result, he has been ostracized by much of the Syndicate. Even worse, the Commission, a secret pantheon of Mafia Bosses from all over the country, has named his Machiavellian uncle the new Boss. But King is a brilliant tactician. Even with the odds stacked against him, he rises through the Syndicate ranks. Many of the Family capos have grown to respect and fear him, for he commands a faithful crew of ambitious young wiseguys who have sworn their lives to him.

Entertaining
Revisado: 09-11-18
This is a monster audiobook at almost 19 hours, but the performance is great. The narrator does the voices well enough to make the characters stand out and the author, Gunner, takes you inside how the mafia actually works. You don't get the since that this is made up Hollywood nonsense, but a guy giving you a real glimpse into the underworld. Get a copy, it doesn't disappoint.

Was Jesus the invention of a Roman emperor? The author of this ground-breaking book believes he was. Caesar's Messiah reveals the key to a new and revolutionary understanding of the origin of Christianity, explaining what is the New Testament, who is the real Jesus, and how Christ's second coming already occurred.

Pay no Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain
Revisado: 09-11-18
I cannot imagine how it's possible that Christianity has survived Joseph Atwill's book, but I sense it's because a lot of religious folks are in a perpetual state of denial. It's not really about facts for them, as much as it's about how their imaginary friend makes them feel.
I'm hoping Atwill follows this up...and sticks with this narrator. Great job!
