What a fantastic addition to the series this book is. Sterling Nixon has continued to breathe life into these wonderful characters that generate an emotional attachment to any reader/listener. The ups and downs throughout the story have you anticipating what’s next. This listen was an enjoyment from beginning to end, and meant even more knowing who has narrated these characters. -To the author: Keep up the enthralling storytelling! Your work is appreciated by those of us who are transported to this other world as we travel through each chapter.

While Annika and Lennox don’t meet for a while after the book starts, Annika and Lennox’s stories have different problems that keep you entertained until they meet. Lennox is easy to like and Annika is too (even though, in the beginning, I disliked her a bit because she was just kind of like going to accept her fate, but she gets better as the story goes on). If you find yourself wanting to quit, just remember that things really pick up in chapter 54 and 55 (both action and romance). 😊
