The boom was fantastic! It gave Biblical evidence that proves our animals will either go to or be in Heaven when we get there.
I had the audible version and while I was very pleased with the book, I was not with the narration of the book. The narrator sounded like an automated voice and there were times he didn’t know how to pronounce certain Biblical figures, like Elisha. I would’ve preferred the author read this since it was his story and it needed his emphasis and emotion. There also was no pause between the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new chapter, so that got to be a little confusing and tenuous.
Outside of the narration, I would highly recommend this book for anyone who has ever had a pet. It gave me great comfort.

Wonderfully personal

I’ve always loved Sandi Patty and now, after reading/listening to her most recent book, The Voice, I love her even more. She’s a celebrity, yes, but she’s also human. Her story resonated with me and not just encouraged me to look at my own life, but did so in a way that provided me space to do just that. I also really enjoyed that she read her own book for Audible. You hear the emotion in her as she tells her story. It felt like we were old friends having a conversation. Overall, this book was probably very cathartic for her, but it was good for me, as well. Well done, Sandi! And thank you for sharing your story so that we, your audience, can find our own voice!
