She has tried to carry embryos created before Brad's chemo started. When her fertility doctor suggests a surrogate mother, she asks Sondra. Not wanting to lose her LDS clients as a single mother, Sondra turns to someone she had met years before.

Bad narration and a choppy story

The narrator was terrible. His voices for many characters sounded identical and didn't match the personalities that he was reading about. The story jumped around so much and was hard to follow at times. The ending happens so quickly and the mystery that had been plaguing the main character the entire story is wrapped up in about 1 paragraph. Disappointing for an LDS novel.
