Very thorough book on a nightmarish past!

This is a fascinating account of a very dark time in our not so distant past. A must read if we never what the past to repeat itself! i actually found it difficult to put down. A most definite page turner!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Simply put, if Ken Follett would have kept of the style and drama he presented in the first 2 books of this trilogy.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Ironically, I still love reading Mr. Follett's books so, it most likely will still be on of his other audiobooks.
What aspect of John Lee’s performance would you have changed?
His performance was excellent, the book's story was dull and the characters were flat.

Bored to death! I couldn't wait for it to end.
