Historia
An unexpected meeting between Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet becomes suddenly and shockingly dangerous. Mr. Darcy is determined to protect Elizabeth, but his exertions leave him grievously wounded. Sheltering with him in a shepherd’s hut, Elizabeth tends to Darcy’s injuries while trying to suppress her concern about the impropriety of her circumstances, as well as the fever-induced proposal that results.

A Wonderful Take on Lizzy and Darcy
Revisado: 07-16-24
Pride and Prejudice is one of my all time favorite novels. This alternative take on events during Elizabeth's Kent visit is absolutely wonderful. Getting a new point of view on Darcy as a person was just lovely.

Historia
Cordelia Canton is on a top-secret assignment: travel to Mystic Bayou and use her powers as a touch-know psychic to learn more about the mysterious artifact that’s been pulled from the rift site. She’s partnered with Brendan O’Connor, a rare male banshee whose tall, dark, and broody good looks are a major distraction. Before long, it becomes clear that the artifact they’re studying is sentient - and brimming with supernatural power. Can they harness its magic in time to stop the secret forces conspiring to steal it?

Brendan is my favorite
Revisado: 10-05-21
I've listened to this one 3 times already...mostly just the parts Jonathan reads. His Irish brogue as Brendan makes a girl's heart skip. I love Amanda's readings also. But if Jonathan reads anything else in an Irish accent I'd be willing to listen to even the encyclopedia.

Reminds me of the radio dramas Grandpa loved
Revisado: 08-11-20
James McAvoy is a chilling Morpheus, drawing out the voice I heard in my imagination reading the comic books as a child. Michael Sheen plays the pleasant and terrifying aspects of Lucifer to perfection. the story had me laughing and shuddering, the horror is given gruesome detail and the beauty is depicted with Gaiman's usual poetic epicness. I have been a fan of his work since I was a teenager in the 90s and my adoration still has not diminished.
