Hard to finish
Revisado: 12-05-24
The antagonist continually makes ridiculous escapes. Poorly developed plausible accomplishments for the "bad guys". The whole story's beginning is not believable. Kind of a 60s or 70s castrophe movie. I kept hoping it to get better it didn't. Pick a different book.

Historia
You know you really made someone raging mad—when they try to kill you with a nuke. Michael and those who follow him had reached a temporary safe base, but now those in power know his identity. His people are in a race against time, and it's no longer a question of if they are going to be discovered—but when. Opposing them are modern-day pirates, slavers, genocidal terrorists, drug cartels, and those who rule the Earth from the shadows. And every single one of them wants to see Michael dead.

I enjoyed it. Hero knows best. The Hero conquerors all and is way ahead in everyway, but leaves stupid unexplained lapses in defense and readiness. This is entertaining science fiction, but very light. I give this a gracious 4 but not near the Expanse in detail and thought. More MCU type story. Igor is targeting the teen/lite audience. I appreciate the LACK of continual strong language and sex.

Historia
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

Not up to experience or expectations.
Revisado: 05-16-23
I can't keep listening. The dialogue is circular. This moves at the pace of the Histories by Herodotus. Encounters with random characters are repeatedly forced for drama and illogical consequences and then reinforced with stupid decisions which are inconsistent with the character profile and history. Spend your time and money elsewhere. I wish I could get a credit back . RC Bray does a fine job as usual but RC be more discriminatory in your performance choices and Craig, stick to Expeditionary Force .

intriguing Beginning
Revisado: 08-10-17
Enjoyed this read. This book spends a good bit of time on character development for what I assume future action. There is action, but a lot of build up to that action. This book is for adults as several situations and stories are provocative, and some dialogue salty. It is also intellectually provocative.
