So Confused this is not a Series

I don’t know how you can call us a series when you change so many details from book one to book two. The husband is gone, not even the same name as the ex-husband booked two, the miraculously came back alive after he died and book one. Leti working in a different department. Is this book set in the Multiverse? book one was so promising was looking forward to book 2 but now I’m just questioning everything. Don’t waste your money.
