Historia
Jin Rou wanted to be a cultivator. A man powerful enough to defy the heavens. A master of martial arts. A lord of spiritual power. Unfortunately for him, he died, and now I’m stuck in his body. Arrogant Masters? Heavenly Tribulations? All that violence and bloodshed? Yeah, no thanks. I’m getting out of here. Farm life sounds pretty great. Tilling a field by hand is fun when you’ve got the strength of ten men—though maybe I shouldn’t have fed those Spirit Herbs to my pet rooster.

Heartwarming, hilarious and wonderful
Revisado: 06-30-22
This author has very quickly become a favourite. This book was wonderful and I love the positive tone. I find many books and or series start so great, then get dark to the point I don’t wish to continue them because they make me feel bad. This book (and series) is the opposite, I had an enormous smile on my face almost the entire duration of the book. There were many laugh out loud moments, and the narration was fantastic. Every moment was captivating and I can tell this will be a series that I will end up listening to over and over! Thanks to the author for writing such an amazing story!!

Historia
Tau Ceti is the sixth in a series of near-future scifi/thrillers whose young heroine, Ell Donsaii, has a nerve mutation which has made her a genius and an athletic phenomenon. In Tau Ceti, she is continuing to find uses for the quantum entangled wormholes that she has discovered. These wormholes aren’t big enough to send people through, yet they are making huge changes in our world. Ell used one to send a small rocket to the third planet of Tau Ceti where it's sending back images of intelligent but primitive beings that can fly!

Great book
Revisado: 06-19-20
I love this author, always an auto buy for me. I was disappointed that the epilogue was missing from this audio version of the book. It causes a disconnect between this book and the next.

Fun world
Revisado: 10-20-19
This series has a fun and interesting world. The MC has interesting skills, and kicks some ass. However, I am getting increasingly frustrated with the way he lets all the other characters walk all over him though! It seems like with every new group of people he meets, he goes to incredible lengths to save them from whatever their issues are. Then they are grateful and happy only long enough to swear to follow him, and immediately afterwards they fear, distrust, and completely disrespect him for no apparent reason. Then instead of doing anything about it, the MC broods and gets all sulky, throws himself little pity parties until it’s time to save the ungrateful wretches once again. He is supposed to be in charge but it seems like there is no consequences for everybody to openly disrespect and disparage him. It is getting harder to put up with this and stay interested in the rest of the story. Also Nickoli is super irritating and I wish the MC never bothered rescuing his dumb ass!!! Anyway, I still bought the next book, but if these problems keep up I don’t think I’ll be into continue reading this series...
Oh, but the narrator is great.

Like a 3rd Grade Play
Revisado: 10-29-14
Any additional comments?
The narration in this book is so terrible it is like listening to the performance in a 3rd grade play, granted the student reciting the lines is very chipper. Everything in the story is recited in the same tone and it sounds extremely forced.
It is kind of hard to tell if the story is any good or not through the narration, but it is easy to tell that all of the characters are vapid and one dimensional. I almost could not finish this book, and for me that is almost unheard of.

Probably my favorite book in the series so far!
Revisado: 02-12-13
Would you listen to Oracle's Moon again? Why?
Yes, I would definitely listen to this again. It was just the right amounts of fun, sexy and engaging to keep me going. I blew through it in 2 listens.
What did you like best about this story?
After the last two books in this series, I had serious reservations about going for the fourth. The last two books were fairly formulaic, which I can get past if the characters, world building, and other nuances of the story are interesting enough. However the last two didn't really feel that way to me. I loved the first installment so much though that I decided to give the series one more chance before I gave up on it. I am very glad I did because I think I loved this book even more than the first one. I would love to see a full series based just on these characters. The female lead was strong and she didn't spend the whole book whining about her lot which I found refreshing. The male lead was just plain sexy! He wasn't as stereotypical as I have found the males to be in this series, and he was fun and surprising. It was also refreshing that this was not just another Vampire/ Shifter story, I enjoyed the diversity of supernatural beings. Overall, I found this book charming, fun, and sexy. It gave me a reason to stick with this series for at least a few more books.
What about Sophie Eastlake’s performance did you like?
The narrator was pretty good in this story, I liked her in this book better than the rest of the series. I am not sure if it was because I thought her Character voices were more appropriate in this one, or if it's because the story was just better. Probably a little of both.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I didn't want to put it down.
