Historia
CJ has survived the horror movie that is her life by following one rule: blend in and stay out of it. But that’s hard to do when your trauma gets turned into a bestselling book series. The Slasherville books are a true crime phenomenon, documenting the Wolf Man massacres that changed CJ’s life forever. CJ hates everything about the books and their fans, but at this point she’s just grateful there aren’t any more murders to write about. Until one day when an unpublished Slasherville book shows up on her doorstep predicting new Wolf Man killings.

this plot was interesting so I grabbed it. I personally love slashers. but no offense to be had an entire chapter about the protagonist's pronouns in the middle of a killing spree bored me to no end! They are being hunted and trying to figure everything with the killer out but the added discussion nearly every chapter turned me off. the narrator was great loved the performance and the initial story but yeah can't say I'd re-read/ listen again

quite a good read
Revisado: 02-03-24
liked the story and it's pacing and the narrator did good to keep the story going. I loved the multiple twists and guessing and I especially liked it wasn't quite so stereotypical of slashers a few aspects were but fit just right I'd read it again

Historia
It’s just a stupid meme that’s going around their small fishing town in the dead of winter—people reposting and sharing their biggest fear. But when her classmates start turning up dead—dying in the way that they said scared them the most—Izzy knows it’s no joke. With each death hitting closer to home, Izzy sets out to try to stop the killer. Could her older sister’s friend Tristan have something to do with the deaths? He’s given her some strange vibes. Or what about his brooding cousin, Axel?

Interesting story, kinda predictable

The story was great and the premise caught my attention I knew I wanted to read the book instantly. I loved the way the narrators presented the story and would listen to more works by them. But I will say I'm not sure if it's because I watch / reach slasher mystery / thriller genre too much but I knew who the killer was by chapter 10 and there are 50 chapters in this book. So I was cringing by the end wanting to slap the main character and her choices because I knew what was coming.
But it's a great book and great listen
