Historia
Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers of all time, with five Champions League titles to his name. Yet his approach could not be further from the aggressive theatricals favoured by many of his rivals. His understated style has earned him the fierce loyalty of players like David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Awful and hated this book
Revisado: 05-18-23
This book threw out names over and over and over. I found no leadership qualities presented to speak of after listening to four chapters. A friend of mine, and I neither of us could finish this book.

For, of course, many of the Company's old adversaries are still around. Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

Great story
Revisado: 01-02-16
If you could sum up Ender's Game in three words, what would they be?
Well developed characters
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ender's Game?
Each time Ender had to make a decision that would affect future similar situations. A lot of strategy in a moment notice on how this decision will affect his life.
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not sure, but he was very effective and easy to listen enjoy.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Must see

The world grows colder with each passing year, the longer winters and ever-deepening snows awaking ancient fears within the Dengan Packstead, fears of invasion by armed and desperate nomads, attack by the witchlike and mysterious Silth, able to kill with their minds alone, and of the Grauken, that desperate time when intellect gives way to buried cannibalistic instinct, when meth feeds upon meth.

Glen Cook is a very favorite author. I have read and reread many of his books many many times. I think this is my second time thru this series as I read it about 30 years ago and really liked it then. Black Company is my favorite series. Have fun and enjoy either series, I love his writing style and think that you will too.

Any additional comments?
The Character building was lacking somewhat compared to some of his other work. I have read many of Pears books more than a few times. I would not read this one a second time. However, I will read the next one in the series. Pears Anthony is one of my top favorite authors so I say all of this with great respect.
The story line to this book is very good. Many of Pears books are rocky at first because he has to construct a fantasy world from scratch. The Pale Rider was hilarious from the first few chapters in. However, Bio of a tyrant was a rough series but well worth the time and effort. In fact Bio of a tyrant started out on a down note and went more depressing from there. Great series, but had to keep at it at times.
