Historia
For much of the 20th and 21st centuries, women’s sexuality was an uncharted territory in science, studied far less frequently - and far less seriously - than its male counterpart. That is, until Emily Nagoski’s Come As You Are, which used groundbreaking science and research to prove that the most important factor in creating and sustaining a sex life filled with confidence and joy is not what the parts are or how they’re organized but how you feel about them.

Hated it
Revisado: 01-13-25
This book turned me all the way off. I don’t even write book reviews, but I’m trying to save your credits/money! It tries soooo hard to be politically correct that’s it’s just out of touch with actual women. Makes me wonder if a woman really even wrote it? Maybe the editing team did too much. Idk but, it was horrible.

As she shares her revelations, I felt like I was also having some revelations.
Revisado: 10-06-23
Kerry is us and we are her. A memoir about finding herself and connecting all of life’s dots. Her story, her voice, her humbleness… it was like listening to one of your girlfriends talk.
Every time I would have to stop listening, I would look forward to the time I could get alone to listen again and finish her book.
I wish she went into more depth about her and her husband and their relationship. Like how she felt about him, what about him attracted her to him…etc.
All in all, great read. You won’t regret it!

Historia
What They Meant for Evil is the account of that unimaginable journey. With the candor and purity of a child, Rebecca recalls how she endured fleeing from gunfire, suffering through hunger and strength-sapping illnesses, dodging life-threatening predators - lions, snakes, crocodiles, and soldiers alike - that dogged her footsteps, and grappling with a war that stole her childhood. Her story is a lyrical, captivating portrait of a child hurled into wartime, and how through divine intervention, she came to America and found a new life full of joy, hope, and redemption.

Life changing but still basic
Revisado: 06-15-19
Self help doesn’t get more realAnd straight forward than this book. I love Jen’s raw, relatable and simple way of explaining things. Most of the stuff is stuff we knew already but she explains why the doubt is there too. I almost felt like my own subconscious was speaking through some of the chapters. This is a must read for someone on the road to the world of self discovery.
