Powerfull and Unique

This is my 1st September read of 2024 and I got to say it was so intriguing and unique I couldn't put it down. I literally read the paperback and listened when I couldn't read it. The characters are so real and veautifully developed, the story is magestic and fantastic. The little side stories, histories, mithologies were so interesting that I could read a wholenother book just about those. If you love Jazz, Art, Magic and the fantastical I totally recommend this book.

If you are looking for a gothic fall read. this book is perfect for spooky season. Just the right amount of gloom, gore, and endings. The main character is a marble with a beautifully written journey of self-awareness and growth.

This book created a very weel done atmosphere of spookyness, gore, and anxiety. I am going to be honest in sating that my main worry was for the cat. But the story was very entertaining, and I love the dive into the mind, the past, and emotions and how it all affects the actions of our main character.

I enjoyed the double perspective between the two main characters and how their journeys connected. It is a very relatable story giving Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hallow vibes. It's one of my favorite spooky reads this October.

This is my first spooky season/ fall read of the year, and I am so happy I chose it. The narrator is amazing with how each character comes to life thanks to her. The story is unique, and each character is beautifully real and magnificent. I loved it.
