Historia
While some people escape into books or music, Liv Spyers escapes through her camera’s lens, which inspires her to jump into things she might otherwise have no business tackling—like moving to New York City. Hustling to make her dreams come true as a portrait photographer, she runs a studio below her grandparents’ brownstone and key shop, where she also lives and works. Everything changes in a flash, however, when elite events photographer Regina Montague invites Liv to shoot with her at New York City’s most exclusive socialite event of the year—the Holiday Debutante Ball!

Good action and details. Is there a next book. I hope so. For author, character, and narrator.

Historia
Melanie is only going through the motions of living since refusing Jack Trenholm’s marriage proposal. When she is roused one night by the sound of a ghostly infant crying, she chooses to ignore it. She simply does not have the energy to deal with one more crisis. That is, until the remains of a newborn buried in an old christening gown are found hidden in the foundation of her house. As the hauntings on Tradd Street slowly become more violent, Melanie decides to find out what caused the baby’s untimely death.

I’ll be sad when I am done with this series

Love this series and the soft tones of the narrator. I hope I can pick up on Nola’s series when I am done.
