Historia
A psychopath is terrorizing Copenhagen. His calling card is a “chestnut man” - a handmade doll made of matchsticks and two chestnuts - which he leaves at each bloody crime scene. Examining the dolls, forensics makes a shocking discovery - a fingerprint belonging to a young girl, a government minister’s daughter who had been kidnapped and murdered a year ago. A tragic coincidence - or something more twisted? To save innocent lives, a pair of detectives must put aside their differences to piece together the Chestnut Man’s gruesome clues.

She vanished again, but this time, left behind her solar-powered smartphone. Was Leah brave enough to look for clues on it? And where had Mom disappeared to? Again. Then there was the strange call from Lord James Melbourne, a British man who claimed to have vital information. ...

AI poor substitute reader
Revisado: 04-11-24
I liked the writing and story of the Fairy Saga, however the AI voice was problematic. There was no change of voice for different people, so it was often hard to know which character was speaking.
I was often frustrated when a character pretended to speak with a different accent, although the AI did not speak in that accent, i. e., a Southern accent, but did not speak in a Southern accent.
Because of the AI’s reading of the story, the series did not do the author justice. Please redo the series with a human who understands the many nuances of stories. Also, numbering the books 1, 2, 3, etc would help the flow for the listener of this series.

This book would not play for me! It was frustrating! It only played 1-2 minutes at a time and sometimes not that long! What can be done about this? There seems to be no way to return it for a refund.

The narrator sounds as she were reading to pre-School children. I can’t even finish listening to this book. I think the story is good, but cannot listen to the reader.
