When Boston-bred witch Jennifer Cunningham agrees to run a knitting and yarn shop in Tregrebi, a fishing village on the Cornwall coast in England, she worries she’ll be bored. Okay, she knows there are vampires living in a former tin mine, but she’s accustomed to vampires. They knit so fast that they make excellent customers and some of them are becoming good friends.

With a name like Quinn Calahan, I sounded as Irish as a leprechaun dancing a jig on a four leafed clover, but the truth was, I’d never been closer to the emerald isle than drinking green beer at the St Patrick’s day street party in Boston until I messed up so badly I had to leave the US. I was offered a job in a tiny village in Ireland that no one’s ever heard of. And I think that was the point in sending me there.

Lucy Swift's adventures continue in Oxford, England, as she still struggles to knit, tries to make sense of her witch powers, and manage the late night vampire knitting club with her neighbors who live beneath her knitting shop. When murder comes calling, though, her undead, nosy neighbors are only too willing to help this amateur sleuth solve the case.
