First half had much more practical aspects. Second half more theological and big picture. I wish the two could have been more evenly woven together but overall really found it helpful as I wrestle with AI and technology in my own life and ministry.

A practical book to help you rethink how and why you do things in whatever career you may have. It was interesting to follow his journey and how he also learned from his mistakes. I'm excited to start applying unreasonable hospitality in my own life and career.

I started reading this book a few months ago but slowly had difficulty following the line of reasoning. I soon purchased the audible version for a road-trip and found it extremely helpful in processing and thinking of how to apply the paradigm presented. The author is thoroughly biblical in his reasoning and grounds many ideas that are rooted in church tradition in liturgy. As an educator I fully agree that schools and churches would do much better and finding the practice and virtue of love to be best taught and caught through more intentional habits and rhythms that are intentionally explained to our students or congregations.
