Author reading his/her own book
Revisado: 10-17-24
Okay, from now on my favorite voice to listen is the author voice itself. This way you really feel the soul of the story and what they are passionate about.
Never in my life did i read this genre of book but i liked this one. It did make few sound points to me, but still its has very approachable way of making you realize few things..
I highly recommend it. Will it change youe life, maybe yes maybe not, but its full of life experiences (also some very heavy and hard) and its inspiring and uplifting to see someone still super successful and with happy fulfilled life even if it isn't always rainbows and sunshines.
I had zero knowledge of this woman/author before but im looking forward to following her life stories in future

Historia
After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar’s crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move. Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin’s scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals.

Historia
When Tess and Eliot stumble upon an ancient book hidden in a secret tunnel beneath the school library, they accidentally release a devil from his book-bound prison, and he’ll stop at nothing to stay free. He’ll manipulate all the ink in the library books to do his bidding, he’ll murder in the stacks, and he’ll bleed into every inch of Tess’ life until his freedom is permanent. Forced to work together, Tess and Eliot have to find a way to re-trap the devil before he kills everyone they know and love, including, increasingly, each other.

Male narrator
Revisado: 10-17-22
I like this book. I like the story, it's quite short and well once it starts unraveling it just keeps you listening. But I did not enjoy male narrator voice. His accent, his one second very silent and another second super loud voice was so hard to understand to follow. I feel so sorry for it, as i like Eliots character and everything, but I just couldn't associate with him as the voice I was listening was terrible for me. Female narrator was great, super easy to follow her speech and everything she say was understandable!
In general i liked story too much to quit it, but also it would be even better if for another male narrator-im sorry to you, i dont hate you for your voice, but for me it's just wasn't pleasant

Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.
