Historia
College is supposed to be an exciting time, an opportunity to meet new friends and make lifelong relationships. However, Kaitlyn was never the social type. Talking to people has always been hard enough, not to mention romance. Getting transported into a dating sim seems like the perfect opportunity to change that. But even here, affection is not so easily earned. As Kaitlyn is beset on all sides by grueling classes, stinging loss, and her own faults, her hopes for change slowly give way to a fear that she'll never escape the endlessly repeating semester.

Good, but not as good as the first book to me personally.
Revisado: 04-20-25
The book is good-no doubt. but its not as good as the first one, too me, personally. Kaitlyn has largely figured things out at this point-and thats a shame, since so much of it was her figuring things out. I still like her as a character, but I preferred it when she was actually struggling. she does get through two different stories in this novel-but neither of them are to the quality of Alex's route in my opinion

How do you make a good first impression? Trial and error. College is supposed to be an exciting time, an opportunity to meet new friends and make lifelong relationships. However, Kaitlyn was never the social type. Talking to people has always been hard enough, not to mention romance. Getting transported into a dating sim seems like the perfect opportunity to change that.

Very enjoyable, if not using "new concepts" it uses existing concepts well.
Revisado: 04-14-25
While neither the time loop-which directly mirrors Re Zero, and far earlier time loop styles, nor the idea of being in a dating sim is unique, it does it incredibly well. Kaitlyn feels like a real person, she doesnt feel like what many characters do-and that is a characture of a real person. And that is the best part of this. The characters also feel like real people-I hope all the novels get released as audiobooks and not just the first two.
The performance is good, especially for awkward Kaitlyn and Heather, her bubbly room mate. The rest of the cast somewhat varies in quality.
Cheers for the good performance.

Toradora is intentionally bittersweet and this is probably some of the heaviest it gets. Great performance, great ark of the story.

Historia
A miniskirt-wearing Santa appears before Sakuta, calling herself Touko Kirishima and cheerfully informing him that she’s been handing out presents—Adolescence Syndrome. Apparently, one of the lucky winners is Sakuta’s classmate from middle school, Ikumi Akagi. According to urban legend, posts tagged #dreaming are filled with prophetic visions, and Ikumi is using those posts to play hero. Sakuta sees the results of this first hand when he spots her saving someone.

If a bit of a slog at times, its well worth it.
Revisado: 03-06-25
Sometimes it feels like the story gets a bit lost in the cultivation stuff, fights can go on a bit long considering the power levels involved, and sometimes characters try to do things the author clearly thinks are cool. Sometimes the whole system and sacrificial credits get brought up more then talking about how the tree is feeling.
All of this is fine-it strikes a fair balance. And the payoff for the last 4ish hours of the book is well worth it. Could the villains be better? Absolutely. Nox especially is just a bit of a miss on me. She is, what I'd call, the anime villain. She wants power, bu she never wants powet for anything but herself. Dante gets a bit of a character arc, and that was nice, but it feels a bit too little too late when it comes to him.
I do hope to see more grounded families actingbas the main enemies. While many elders are relatively grounded, he's been facing mostly comicly evil people who think of nothing but stealing power.
Cheers to the author on the effort though. Stella and Diana in particular are great. Most of the reason to read honestly.

You get to find more about Ryuuji, Ami and Taiga. presumably most who read a nearly 20 year old series know about the anime and come from there. It goes far more in depth and the performance is quite amazing by narrator. Hope to see book 5

The new school year brings with it a new transfer student--Kawashima Ami, a breathtakingly gorgeous model who quickly has the whole class smitten. But Ami's delicate exterior hides a personality that isn't quite as innocent as she seems. When she unwittingly shows Aisaka Taiga her true colors, a bad first meeting quickly escalates into a bitter rivalry, made worse by the fact that Ami seems determined to charm Ryuuji. The Palmtop Tiger is on the warpath, and Ryuuji might just have to pick a side--or become a casualty of war!

Historia
Becoming a college student means starting a whole new life...right? Sakuta honestly isn’t sure. Some things have changed, but some things are still the same. His reputation definitely precedes him just like before. Of course, it’s because the entire school knows he’s dating Mai, who’s as busy as ever with her acting career. Sakuta also still lives in Fujisawa with Kaede, but now his sister regularly attends school remotely and splits her time between the apartment and their parents’ home. And Sweet Bullet is giving it their all to reach stardom together, just like always.

While writing a review without spoiling who is a bit hard-this one is pretty good. With all the main cast finally done, its getting into secondary, but still close characters.

Historia
Takasu Ryuuji might look like a thug, but he's actually a nice guy. Making friends when you've got an unintentionally scary face is tough--and don't even get him started on girlfriends. But with his secret crush in his class, the start of his second year of high school is off to a good start...until he crosses paths with Aisaka Taiga. Beautiful, frightening, and not quite five feet tall, the girl known as the palmtop tiger is the one person in school even scarier than Ryuuji himself--and he's just made the mistake of making her very, very angry.
