Historia
Grocery store bag boy Andrew hates his job. No career growth, rude customers, and the forced customer appreciation greeting have taken a toll on his mental stability. Though his job gives him the flexibility to attend community college, he can find no other enjoyment there. That is until he met the woman that would change his life. During Andrew’s mundane day of grabbing and bagging, Victoria, a customer with an infectious smile and playful personality, gives him the attention that he’s been missing.

This was a disappointment.
Revisado: 04-09-25
I had high hopes for this book… but it was a disappointment. I enjoy books that feature the pov of the villain, but the subject matter was too disturbing. It was way too dark for my taste. It just wasn’t for me.

Historia
Poe Webb, host of a popular true crime podcast, invites people to anonymously confess crimes they’ve committed to her audience. She can’t guarantee the police won’t come after her “guests,” but her show grants simultaneous anonymity and instant fame—a potent combination that’s proven difficult to resist. After an episode recording, Poe usually erases both criminal and crime from her mind. But when a strange and oddly familiar man appears on her show, Poe is forced to take a second look.

The Last Sentence Is Chilling…
Revisado: 04-01-25
I had to listen to a few chapters over again. You have to pay close attention or you can get lost pretty easily. Make sure there are no distractions and give this book your undivided attention. Good read overall. The last sentence is chilling.

Good Read But Could Have Been Better
Revisado: 03-09-25
I was really anticipating this book because of the positive reviews online. I found it was a good read but could have been better. The first few chapters were exhilarating, but I found many chapters in the middle long and drawn out. I think the book would have been better if it were shorter.
