Like listening to a real documentary

Just. Wow. The intimacy and the real emotions had me listening intensely throughout the whole book. The acting is phenomenal, the writing superb, the directing and editing spot on to make the listener feel like they are hearing actual recorded interviews. Fantastic!!

What made the experience of listening to Night Shadow the most enjoyable?

Kate is a stellar narrator, portraying male and female characters believably. She does a great job of bringing a story to life and allows you to get lost in the story without the narration getting in the way or being in the forefront.

Any additional comments?

As far as the writing, I love Nora Roberts, but I started to get a little tired of the dramatic scenes where the two main characters argue passionately. Other than that, it was exciting and thrilling, and romantic.

What does Cait Frizzell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Cait has good pronunciation and enunciation.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. It's meant to be listened to sporadically. It's a great list of verbs, but for an audiobook, I would have liked some "listen and repeat" of the verbs and usage.

Any additional comments?

I wished there were an accompanying PDF that would allow me to see the spelling of the verbs. I also wish it went a little more in depth in conjugating and/or giving more examples for usage.

What made the experience of listening to Hush the most enjoyable?

Cassandra Campbell's narration.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Riley. The writer did a great job getting us to really like Riley and take us on the journey to find her husband's killer.

Which scene was your favorite?

All the scenes with Finn. The chemistry between them was palpable.

Any additional comments?

Cassandra always delivers a stellar performance!

Great easy lessons that are easy to follow!

If you could sum up Learn French: Ultimate Getting Started with French Box Set, Lessons 1-55 in three words, what would they be?

Great for beginners and intermediate speakers. Great way to review stuff you learned previously or learn for the first time. Very clear and well done/

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it would be too much to take in if you tried to do it all in one sitting.

My only issue was that not all words in the dialogues are reviewed. I would have preferred that every word and phrase be dissected and explained.

Great time travel romance!

Would you listen to Outlander again? Why?

Yes. I love the TV series and started listening to the audiobook as I was working my way through season 1 of the show. It was great to get the additional details and characters in the book, that weren't in the show. I love the timeframes the story takes place, and all the details that help make the story richer.

Any additional comments?

The narrator's accents are perfect, and help me fall into the story easily. Her Scottish accent helped bring the Scottish characters to life fully.

What does Cassandra Campbell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Cassandra is one of my favorite narrators. She brings the story alive and makes every character feel real. It's easy to get lost in the story because of her narration.

Great story that kept me engaged throughout. The characters were very real and I enjoyed seeing the story play out.
