Good Story but Terrible Narrator

The third installment of this series was a good story, but the narrator spent the entire book mispronouncing Leviathan and Megalodon. It was really annoying and took away from the story. I suggest reading this book instead of listening to it.

Too much Religion

The story started out ok, but then the religion theme went too far and did nothing to further the story. One of the bad guys could have been caught much earlier in the book if the main character, law student/legal assistant had half a brain. Overall, it was a sermon with a legal prosecution thrown in. Terrible.

Extremely Unlikeable Characters.

In a good court room drama, there are good and or bad characters that have you rooting for them. In this boring, pointless story all the characters are so unlikeable that you don't care what happens, you just want it to be over already. The only reason I stuck it out to the end is because it was "free", included the plus catalog. I usually listen to audio books at 2.5, I increased this one to 3.1, to get it over with faster. Don't waste your time on this drivel, like I did and certainly don't pay for it.

Unsympathetic Characters in a boring story.

It was difficult to get into the story particularly when the main protagonist is an unsympathetic, self-righteous, self-destructive idiot. In fact none of the characters in this book are even remotely likable. The story droned on and on and there was no satisfactory solution. I can't believe this book gets so many high star reviews.

No Point

The way the story is told though tapes is terrible. The sound effects distract from the story rather than enhance it. There is a lot of heavy breathing, unfinished sentences and unfinished thoughts. I wanted to give up so many times, but I made it to the end hoping there would finally be a point. There was not.

WTF did I just listen to?

It is a jumbled mess. The "story" is ridiculous. The ending will have you thinking WTF was that?

Ridiculous

I struggled to finish the book 1) because the narrator's voice was so annoying, like she was whispering for no reason and 2) the story was not well written. It was boring and repetitive. I continued with the book hoping it would get better, but it never did. The main character is unsympathetic and the whole plot is just ridiculous.

I like a steamy romance as much as the next person, but that is NOT what this is. There is absolutely no plot, just sex scene after sex scene, so much so that is is mind numbingly boring. I have no idea how this gets so many high ratings, they must be faked. Pun intended.

This story in nonsensical, terrible and a complete waste of time. The ending was so bad it was like the author knew the story was awful and just sort of gave up.
