Top notch performances! BUT..

The story was pretty great, if not greatly anticlimactic! The ending does wrap things up. You are not left hanging, but it was so LAME! Reality Bites in the end. I'm so glad it was only a few hours otherwise I would have been very put out. Worth a listen for the performances on its own, just don't expect something exciting to happen.

I loved how much I actually, literally, busted up laughing out loud! I almost sprayed my car with carbonated syrup as I was taking a drink of my coke from laughing so hard at the sex toy shop owner!!! I haven't had this much fun since the Star Kingdom Series by Buroker! I loved it so much that I want more than a measly couple of hours! It says it's a Third District novel. So I'm searching!

A fun clean listen

Great story, kept me interested. the audio was a little odd at times.. kinda like two people talking in sync. the narrator didn't fluctuate voice for female/ male characters. Aside from that. the story kept me intrigued

The writing was witty & sharp! I love cats! There's a beautiful relationship between his cats & him that made my love me love on my own pet in appreciation ❤️! Gotta love those speech buttons! I actually laughed out loud numerous times! The cussing was a BIT much at times but the story shined through anyway. Will Wheaton didn't do much with his voice for each character, male or female.. if at all, so it was hard keeping track of who was talking. But don't let it stop you from this story! I highly recommend this book!. I hope there will be more, it seemed like the story could continue if the author had a mind to, hopefully he does!

The humor & wit! I can't get enough!

I just happened upon this series when I saw one if the books included in my audible plus catalog. Since then, I haven't spent a day without binge listening this series! I'm half in love with Rache & Casmir! I feel like Kim gets me and Qin is my inner playful, loyal self. Laser is so refreshing. Being older doesn't mean being frigid! I'm only half her age but it's okay to have a character who has sexy sass! I'm currently on the 6th book & have read all of the side stories, which you can get for free on Lindsay Buroker's website 😉. I haven't enjoyed a series so much in a while & is up there with Bobiverse & The Murderbot Diaries! Highly recommend all three of these series!

So far, great! BUT..

I'm on chapter 25, and all of a sudden, it doesn't sound like the original narrator! From one sentence to the next, the voice changes & doesn't sound like Fred Berman. Can someone please explain that? I hope it goes back to Fred because I fell in love with the way he played each character that now it doesn't sound like them unless he's narrating. Aside from that, I'm happy to have the Electro Clan back together ❤️

Should've been shorter

I couldn't wait for this book to finish! Only about 20% of this book was necessary information to the overall story! It was SO DEPRESSING & it DRRAAAGGGGED ON! I couldn't take it anymore, so 2 or 3 times I skipped ahead 20 chapters, and what do ya know... It didn't make a lick of difference! I can't believe how many hours I wasted on unnecessary extra background information! I definitely like the overall basis of the story to the series, but #2 was too hard for me to invest in. I'm glad that I finally got to the end & now I'm onto the 3rd book. I hope you enjoy #2 more than me but I hated 80%

I LOVE Jessica Chastain! Excellent but too short. I want more! Just as I really get immersed into the episode, it ends!! The into & outro music is annoying because I wish it was filled with more story.. Ugh I'm almost done with the episodes & I'm sad about it! I really don't understand the negative reviews, I'm hooked! Please give us more!

I,was,hoping,for,more. Story,was,so,promising, Failed,to,execute a smooth story. Jumped, around,to,much. Narrator,did,good,with,many,characters,. MC,annoying,at,times,. Story,didn't,always,make,sense. Won't read next book.
