Historia
Nate Beckett has spent his life fighting wildfires instead of the lies and rumors that drove him from his Colorado hometown. His mother begs him to come back now that his father has been released from prison, but it isn’t until he’s sidelined by an injury that he’s forced to return and face his past. But that means facing Brenna, too. Fourteen years ago, Nate was in love with the preacher’s daughter. When Pastor Strickland discovered Brenna defied him to sneak out with Nate, the fight between Strickland and Nate’s drunken dad was loud - and very public.

Wonderful!

I loved the second book of the series. At first I struggled with the change in narrator, but he did a wonderful job. Moore used great voices and accents.

Couldn’t finish
Revisado: 01-13-18
I enjoyed the story, I’ll get it in book form to read. But the narration was so poor I just couldn’t listen anymore. The narrator was rather sing-songy and because he didn’t change his voice at all it was sometimes difficult to know which character was speaking in a conversation.

Powerful
Revisado: 07-01-17
"AD 30" had a profound effect on me. To hear the story of Jesus from the perspective of a gentile and the reminder of forgiveness made me look at my own relationship with God. It brought me to tears. I look forward to the sequel!
