I haven’t finished the book yet but have gotten through a few chapters and so far this is a great book. The narrator does a superb job I am very pleased. The content is also very well put together and well done. I highly recommend this book. God bless

This is an amazing book! Wonderful content and the narrator did an amazing job. I’m almost to the end of the book and I have to say this narrator is really good. I don’t think I’ve heard of him before but I really think he did a great job narrating this title. Bravo and excellent in your reading of this masterpiece.

The content of Alanon itself is good.
The narration of the book is horrible.
How can a 12 step movement such as Alanon not hire a decent narrator. You should really be ashamed of yourself for this poor representation of your program. Hire a decent narrator and do the job right. Sounds staticy and poor quality.

It’s hard to put into words how long winded this book is so far. I have only begun to listen and so far I would say it is unbelievably boring. I thought it was a Christian book on anxiety but so far seems like a lot of psycho babble about who knows what. I will continue to listen and possibly give an update.

A job well done. This is a hard book to understand because of the language but the narrator did a great job of reading the book. He made it easier to follow along. A very engaged narrator and I can’t recommend it more. 5 star get this narrator’s version of the audio. Great job! Three cheers and bravo!

Just before his death in 1677, Scougal allowed the private communication to be published. Not overly thrilled with this work. After hearing many great things about the book was rather disappointed. Old English was hard to understand and the narrator did not seem to help any. Felt like he did okay but not great. Read to fast and with little emotion. Not sure if I understand hardly one thing form this book.
