Historia
This is the story of a man who said that he would stop the motor of the world - and did. Is he a destroyer or a liberator? Why does he fight his hardest battle not against his enemies, but against the woman he loves? Tremendous in scope, breathtaking in its suspense, Atlas Shrugged is Ayn Rand's magnum opus and launched an ideology and a movement. With the publication of this work in 1957, Rand gained an instant following and became a phenomenon.

Historia
Being a true modern gentleman and a genuine class act is increasingly rare. It is also more important now than ever before. What worked for the rat pack and the brat pack won’t work for you, and truth be told, it won’t work for anyone because that is old school. Manliness in the modern era is worth learning about, and the dividends will pay off for a lifetime. Not only will you bring joy to all those around you, you’ll be happier, too. Once you master this, you’ll live the good life.

This is more of a testimony than a book
Revisado: 07-31-21
The reader was fantastic. Entirely not what I expected. It is 4 hours of a guy writing about his life, successes, & challenges. Very little in the way of concrete actionable steps one can take.... more like, this is what I did. I would not recommend this book at all.

Lenore Skenazy called down a firestorm of controversy when she wrote a newspaper column about letting her nine-year-old ride alone on the New York City subway. In this plainspoken take on modern parenting, Skenazy offers a commonsense approach to letting kids be kids.

Very good book
Revisado: 04-02-21
This book brings reality to what raising kids should be like and frankly has been for all of recorded history. Our modern society has turned childhood into a scary time instead of the fun time most of us remember. The author is masterful with her use of ridiculousness to display how crazy we are behaving. I Thoroughly enjoyed this book!!!

Historia
Rollo Tomassi is one of the leading voices in the globally growing, male-focused online consortium known as the "Manosphere". Outlined are the concepts of positive masculinity, the feminine imperative, plate theory, operative social conventions, and the core psychological theory behind game awareness and "red pill" ideology. Tomassi explains and outlines the principles of intergender social dynamics and foundational reasoning behind them.

He's not against marriage, but not for it either.
Revisado: 01-31-21
Rollo makes lucid the intentionally obfuscated motivations of the female imperative. He is masterful in his observations and explanations and his gathered wisdom should be shared to men both young and old.
My critiques: 1. A society must have strong families or it will eventually perish, I think further analysis into LTRs and success without compromising principles is warranted.
2. Taking full advantage of the knowledge of feminine imperatives, preferences, and hard wiring runs the risk of creating the women most men laugh at and despise... although I will grant that the culture is doing a dandy job of making beguiled women confused and, after the party is over, quite bitter.
3. While he states that he is not opposed to marriage, the conclusions of this text don't support it either. I get that the trust of the text is the understanding of relationship dynamics and walking in natural masculinity, but my view after reading/listening is that marriage is for suckers.

Historia
For thousands of years, Homer's ancient epic poem the
Iliad has enchanted readers from around the world. When you join Professor Vandiver for this lecture series on the Iliad, you'll come to understand what has enthralled and gripped so many people. Her compelling 12-lecture look at this literary masterpiece -whether it's the work of many authors or the "vision" of a single blind poet - makes it vividly clear why, after almost 3,000 years, the
Iliad remains not only among the greatest adventure stories ever told but also one of the most compelling meditations on the human condition ever written.

Dr. Vandiver brings the Iliad to life
Revisado: 04-20-19
Dr. Vandiver explains the Iliad with such clarity and precision and it makes the work assessable to anyone. I felt like I was getting a $50,000 a year education for the bargain price of one audible token.
